3. The purpose, legal base and period of the data processing

3.1) Data processing related to the communication with Processor

3.1.1) The scope of the personal data and the purpose of the processing

  • e-mail address: the email address serves communicational purposes between you and the Processor, so we can contact you and reply to your messages
  • telephone number: in case you contact the Processor via the phone number available on our website, then your phone number is necessary for us to contact you
  • personal data indicated on postal letters: in case you contact the Processor via a postal letter sent to the address available on our website, then your personal data indicated on the postal letter are necessary to contact you
  • bank account number: Your bank account number is essential if, at the end of your employment, your working fee is not paid personally but via bank transfer by us.
  • full name of bank account number proprietor: The full name of the bank account number proprietor is essential for a successful bank transaction if, at the end of your employment, your working fee is not paid personally but via bank transfer by us. 

It is not necessary for the e-mail address to include personal data. For example, it is not necessary for the email address to include your name. You are completely free to choose if you provide an e-mail address that contains information about you.

The legal basis of the data processing is your consent (GDPR Article 6 (a)).

3.1.3) The period for which the personal data is stored

The Processor stores the personal data collected in connection with the communication until the withdrawal of your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time via an e-mail sent to the kalman@minoritiescasting,com email address. The withdrawal of your consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

3.2) Data processing related to the registration in the database and cast selection

3.2.1) The scope of the personal data and the purpose of the processing

  • date of birth: your date of birth and age allow our clients to decide if you fit into their idea about a given role and invite you to a casting
  • hair color, portrait, body measurements, appearance: your hair color, portrait and body measurements, appearance allow our clients to decide if you fit into their idea about a given role and invite you to a casting.

It is not necessary for the e-mail address to include personal data. For example, it is not necessary for the email address to include your name. You are completely free to choose if you provide an e-mail address that contains information about you.

Please note that only a person who is above 16 years of age can declare his / her consent on his / her own behalf after the reading the present Policy, who is below 16 years of age can only apply with the consent of the holder of parental responsibility.

If you choose to withdraw your consent, your personal data processed based on your consent will be deleted from our registration database. In this case, however, our clients will no longer be able to view your profile later, so we will no longer be able to provide you with our service. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legal relationships that have been concluded or are ongoing between the Processor or our clients and you.

3.3) Data processing related to the conclusion of the contract

3.3.1) The scope of the personal data and the purpose of the processing

  • name, address, date and place of birth, mother's name: your name, address, date and place of birth and your mother's name are necessary for identification and the conclusion of the contract
  • tax number: your tax number is necessary for the compliance with legal obligations related to billing and taxation

3.3.2) Legal basis of the data processing

The legal basis of the data processing is the performance of the contract (GDPR Article 6 (b)) and compliance with legal obligations (GDPR Article 6 (c)) related to billing and taxation. In the case of billing data and tax data, the legal obligation requiring the data processing is set out in 159 §. and 169. § of the Act CXXVII of 2007 and 166-169. §§ of the Act C of 2000.

3.3.3) The period for which the personal data is stored

The personal data necessary for the conclusion of the contract is stored until the contract is in effect and the period of prescription. We store billing and tax data until the 31st December of the 8th year following the issuance of the invoice.

Data transfer

The Processor makes your personal data available to our clients, based on your consent given as part of the registration, in order to allow our clients to decide if they want to invite you to a casting based on your photo and data.

If our client wishes to invite you to a casting, we will inform you about the details of our client and the specific terms of the casting (the type of person they are looking for and for what role and what type of work) before accepting the application. For example, extras for a commercial, protagonists or supporting actors for a feature film.

Your personal data will not be disclosed, transferred to any third countries or international organisations and we do not make any automated decision or profiling based on them.

The Processor will share your personal data with the authorities, in case of an official request, to the extent and for the purposes specified in the applicable laws.

Data security measures

The Processor takes all the necessary technical and organizational measures through the entire data processing to ensure the security of the personal data you provide or make available.

We store the personal data on our servers located at H-2235. Mende, Jókai street 37. Our servers are located in physically lockable rooms, and are protected by password as well as up-to-date firewall and network protection against unauthorized access. Access is logged by the Processor so it can be checked who, when and to what personal information had access to.

In the case of paper-based storage, the storage media are stored in a closed location at the above address.

Your data protection rights

6.1) Right of access

You have the right to obtain confirmation from the Processor through the above contacts, as to whether or not your personal data are being processed, and, where that is the case, you have the right to be informed about the following:

  • from which source,
  • for which purpose,
  • which categories of personal data,
  • on which legal base and for what period of time are being processed by us,
  • and that to whom, when, on what legal base and which personal data made The Processor available or to which third party recipients were the personal data transferred to.

Upon the receipt of your request, we will provide the above information immediately, but at the latest within one month.

6.2) Right to rectification

You have the right to obtain from the Processor without undue delay the rectification of your inaccurate personal data (for example you can change your email address at any time).

6.3) Right to erasure

You have the right to obtain from the Processor the erasure of your personal data without undue delay.

6.4) Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to obtain from the Processor the restriction of processing of your personal data at your request, until the reason you specify requires it. You shall request the restriction of processing in case if you contest the accuracy of the personal data or think that the processing of your personal data is unlawful or if you require your personal data for the exercise of legal claims (for example, if you would like to lodge a complaint or file a lawsuit for the unlawful processing of your personal data).

6.5) Right to data portability

At your request, we will provide you your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and upon your request we will transmit those data to the controller chosen by you.

Options for the enforcement of your rights
